Anti-invasion defences suffolk - world war ii

This website is intended to be an ongoing project to describe and document the anti-invasion measures taken in Suffolk during WW2. It should not be regarded as comprehensive, I dont have the time for that and am also probably unaware of much that still exists! It is simply to share an interest with anyone who may also be interested. The website should also be viewed as a continuous 'work in progres'!

For the role of the Home Guard and Civil Defence in the event of invasion: civildefence-suffolk.webeden.co.uk

For WW1 Anti-invasion Defences: ww1homedefence.webeden.co.uk

Always check this Home Page for new postings. You can also visit my blog at pillboxesinsuffolk .blogspot.com for upto date info on field work.
