54th Div

The 54th Division was a first-line Territorial Army Division made up of units from Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Essex. It never actually served overseas despite being absorbed into L. of C. 21st Army Group.

The Division relieved the 15th Scottish Division during November 1941. It comprised of:

198th Infantry Brigade – Lowestoft area
162nd Infantry Brigade – Kessingland to Southwold
163rd Infantry Brigade – Walberswick to Aldebrugh
202nd Infantry Brigade – Orford to Felixstowe
